Background Information

What are ES NQ RTY and why do we track them?
ES:     S&P 500 E-mini futures
NQ:    Nasdaq 100 E-mini futures
RTY:   E-mini Russell 2000 Index futures

If you use Trading View for your charts (which we do), you will find them when you enter these symbols below for the front month contract (for futures)
ES1!
NQ1!
RTY1!

The reason we track futures instead of $SPX $NDX $RUT directly.  This is because we can see the overnight price actions more clearly on their charts.  These charts go as low as 1-minute interval.  The overnight price patterns (5-min, 30-min, 1hr, etc) are especially important to help determine which way the market will swing at the start of the trading day, especially on key days when you get early data releases pre-market like CPI, job report, etc.
